I really did try
to be productive tonight
but I got lost
in an upward spiraling
light-tunnel
of the most wonderful poetry

I hadn’t yet
had the delight
of word.

my heart is
brightly shining with
joy and love and gratitude
for the people God has
brought into my life.

I am overwhelmed by the
Love God has shown
me through others. A
blindingly bright spot

when rain bubbles
on the ground
it reminds me of
my dad.

He says
when rain bubbles
it’s going to rain
all day.

If you are what you eat
then this morning
I am an egg and an egg white
scrambled with spinach,
a whole grain piece of toast,
and a half caff cup of coffee.

Hopefully I will not also be
a Pączki.

Sometimes
the city is just
too materialistic
for me.

Sometimes the sounds
of the city
just whisper
                              “consume
                consume
consume”.
