Start of the week: take two.
We’re calling yesterday a Wash,
and by that I mean it was great and I loved it,
and then it got mercilessly impaled mid-
sentence and we have no choice
but to move on and avenge it.

I’m a leaf on the wind.

Sometimes, remembering
there is a world beyond
your sadness is the hardest,
most important thing
