My cat’s claws click when he walks around
it’s like he’s wearing kitty high heels
I don’t know. You tell me.
(yes)
(but you gotta say it)
I love when that old lady says that.
Thy will be done
I say it to myself a lot
I’m excitedly awaiting returning to the field. It was heaven
I will be returning to… The Parlour
You know, I work in a library basically
Also, I might consider Kafka an apostle.

Have you ever prepared for something
special to the dear?
It could be the moment
to make you lovely.
For whomever you really love,
share your time and let them
feel how deep your love is.
That’s why the life is valuable
to live.

Until which time you’ve had
a parent or a child
die in front of you,
there is simply
is nothing to convey—
except that you’ve done only
what you are able
at exactly the right time.
This is perfection.

I’m looking out my front window
and Kathryn drives up
in a bright blue convertible,
drives by and parks
in the next door neighbor’s driveway.
“Kathryn, that’s our neighbors drive,”
I shout.
“She turns
and smiles
a huge smile, waves, and says,
“I’m a star!”

As I
lay down and go to bed tonight,
the Lord
pursued me and kept me wrapped tight
all I heard was the Lord tenderly whisper to me,
“My precious
You are My daughter,
who is pure joy,
My child, I know”

anxiously awaiting
the Mars landing’s
seven minutes of terror
in much the same way I did with
seven minutes of heaven
when I was a teen.

Cat sees moth.
Cat chases moth.
Cat pounces moth.
Cat eats moth.
“Green” deed done
for the evening.
Thanks cat.

august is the one month of the year
where i feel both happiness and grief
in such a perfect and delicate balance
the date my dad bid farewell to this world
for eternal peace, and
my dearly departed nephew’s birthday
who perished in a car accident
one of my best ‘brothers’ birthday
of which i’d never trade that friendship
for all the riches in the world, and
my beautiful
time really does fly
flies by fast
so cherish every moment
like it’s your very last
love is such a simple notion,
but is so much more important
when it’s shared
(the things we think are so big are
really just so small in the
bigger scheme of it all)
