honestly, a bird sang in my ear
and said for the entirety of lent
I must listen to one Mozart Symphony a day
minus sundays
turns out he didn’t write 4 of them
so that leaves me 37 beautiful

Did not happen, though erected
Barricades and fences had been breached upon the shore,
On that Miserables shore, shown to Thee for nevermore

Still my heart went pitter-patter,
Signing forms that do not matter,
Having waited for this time since oh-so-many months before
