Just once,
before I die,
I’d like to hear a choir
sing “Hark, the herald
angels sing,” and change
the exclusionary language.

“Pleased as man with man to dwell”
(or “man with us,” as some sing it)
could reasonably be
“Pleased as punch with us to dwell.”
