They call me
a good guy,
a nice guy,
a sweet guy,
that’s the mask I wear.
They said I’d only get hurt,
but masks don‘t have feelings,
they can‘t get hurt.
Funny how human beings work; they do nothing
to create something good, but they do everything
to stop a good thing from being destroyed.
I’m tired
So very tired,
I liked it better when I couldn’t feel anything.

We were as high as the highest heaven.
The air was thin, my mind was swimming,
my quest for the meaning of life itself was
gliding away like a feather drifting away
on the breeze.
I heard my own voice slip from my lips,
but it sounded alien. It was a laugh that
bubbled up from my very being and
reverberated across the clouds,
echoing back to me
from the firmament.
It was the aether of the universe,
and it was Joy Itself.

Winter Weather Advisory!
I know,
the whole world will be shutting down at 4:00 p.m. today
so get your latte’s and head for home
it’s going to be an epic storm
I suspect we will get around…
3/4s to 1 inch, and,
mayyyyybe, Tom Cruise will parachute
into town to stop the bombing of the Kremlin.
But, I feel more confident in Air Tom
than the precipitation meter.
And if someone would get Tom
a map and compass, well,
that would be swell.
